MULTI-VEHICLE FATAL CAR CRASH

One person has been declared dead on Sunday, June 11, 2018 in a multi-vehicle wreck in Southwest Riverside County, officials report. The crash happened on the outskirts of Murrieta, near French Valley airport, around 5:36 p.m. Witnesses saw multiple vehicles that were involved in the wreck along Winchester Road/SR-79 at Benton Road. One of the cars caught fire following the crash. “The first arriving engine company reported a three vehicle traffic collision with fire,” the Riverside County Fire Department reported.
