- Portable phone charger
- Current insurance information

- Bottled water
- Reflective warning devices
- Pen and notepad
Your smartphone can also be an extremely valuable tool following an accident. If it’s safe to do so, you can use it to photograph vehicle damage, road conditions, traffic signs, license plates, and the overall accident scene. Having a portable charger available can be especially important if your battery is low when you need to contact law enforcement, family members, roadside assistance, or your attorney.
Preparation Includes Knowing What to Do After an Accident
